7kb plasmid

Abstract
The use of a 7000 base pair plasmid that was found within the deinococcus aquaticus species, the finished product will be a plasmid that will be isolated and then will be transformed and then reintroduced into the deinococcus species again.
Introduction
The use of the lysozyme with the extended time showed that the extention did increase the concentration of the plasmid. From this there was used in the thermosciences kit, the following concentrations were recorded and used going forward. The 7kb plasmid is still
being extracted presently and is to be transformed once it is extracted and purified.

Methods
The use of thermoscience kit was used for the following results. Following the previous method and protocal.
Results
These tables are of plasmid extraction concentrations, these were after the 30min lysozyme increase and running gels to make sure the plasmid was there.

Discussion
During the plasmid extraction, it was shown that the yield for our plasmid extraction had significantly decreased.  As such talk of using a different kit was involved. During these discussions there was contamination within our broth and so there was need to reinoculate some broth. Hopefully the use of a different kit will show the desired results that we were hoping for to continue with our project.
